Digging "written pieces" back from the dead!

What better way to revive this section that's passed away for three years than for a thread that starts off with a narrative that encourages the creative input of the reader! A good old play by post!

How this works: I will describe a setting and the sequence of events and basically function as the narrator to the story. Your job is to function as characters in this story, you can have any character you wish (based on your real person or not) the point is to act out your characters and how they would respond in the situations i will be providing. try to play in character and don't go too far out (we could play it that way but it will get boring and be much less fun!) as characters you will need to propose what your character you are free to say any dialogue you wish or attempt to perform any actions then I will describe the results of your dialogue or actions (as there are rewards and consequences to our words and actions of course)

The Rules: If you wish to perform any actions in-character just type them out if there are any clarifications or questions that are out-of-character, meta-story or beyond the story you would like to say or ask just enclose them in parenthesis (like this). I will endeavor to be as unbiased as possible in arbitrating the results of actions during the course of the story (but note that unfortunately not *everything* that you do will always result in success). eventually you will have to introduce your character in some way however creatively you would like just input it into the story citing your name

without further ado We shall begin:

You awaken to an unnatural complete darkness you are motionless as if pinned down. You feel as though you have been knocked in the back of your head and are consumed by a feeling of great pain, adding to that you seem to be surrounded by dirt and rocks as if buried. You hear the muffled sounds of laughter above the dirt mound piled on top of you.

It is then that you feel the hunger. You're not sure for exactly what, but you imagine yourself to be hungry for meat. Any meat. Even raw meat. Strangely enough, right now, raw meat seems to be more appealing than anything else.

Though your mind is racing in confusion as to how you got there and where you are it is then that you feel that your base instincts slowly taking over compelling you to get out of your confinement and find something to fill your hunger. You snap out of it for a moment and try to think clearly, that's when the reality of the situation really comes to your mind, you're buried alive!
