Talk Smart...
To all those who do not fear the true ENGLISH LANGUAGE, this thread is for you.
Yet, to dilineate the thread, allow me to enumerate laws to be abided upon.
1. The use of pure english (no mixing, no slang) is a must.
2. Verbosity is looked upon with the highest regards.
3. Spelling is a nonentity and should not and will not be enforced on anyone who wish to sing the songs of letters.
4. Idioms, similes, quips, oxymorons, and qoutations are highly appreciated
5. One must not feel offended if one is given critique. Grammar and semantics are subjected to scrutiny, while spelling, again, will be overlooked.
Alas, englishmen and ladies, write to your hearts content, in this never-ending vacuum of literary splendor.

Re: Talk Smart...
Aha, alas, my friend you finally found an output to all your outbursts against persons that are not that comfortable in speaking or writing in fluent, flawless English. I may not be that perfect in what I say or write but I am proud to scream to the world that I am not afraid of the ENGLISH LANGUAGE. Thank you for this topic, we shall celebrate the glory of this language together. ![Smile](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif)

Re: Talk Smart...
Barvo, my dear comrade. This battle towards the proliferation of the True English Language, shall be won indeed.
Though i regret the slacking flow of comments and views, i am content knowing that i am not alone in this endeavor.
My warmest gratitude.

Re: Talk Smart...
There is no need for an expression of gratitude my friend. We should consider it our duty to talk smart and encourage others to do the same. Perhaps we could transfer this topic to the General Discussion thread so there would be a constant flow of comments from those who dare be bold and proud to speak the pure English language.

Re: Talk Smart...
Indeed, this thread is actually quite interesting even though I have to think about the words that I'll be using to avoid being corrected by Mark.
Re: Talk Smart...
I, for one, am not afraid of the English language. In fact, I hate it. I passionately hate it, because it has been 17 years since I started learning the language and the vocabulary i developed in school cannot even be used in the country that used to use it the most because of its unending evolution. Thus, influencing me [or us] more to the slang language which might someday replace english itself as a language.

Re: Talk Smart...
I somehow find myself very uneasy to English however I am trying to cope with it. One thing is that every time I use the language it seems like someone might critique me negatively and that's the thing I am afraid of.
Re: Talk Smart...
be not afraid my friends for i believe that critiques also have their own fears...so i am confident that their judgments would not hurt us much but rather help improve one's self, may it be in speaking english or other matters...

Alas! I make my first critique. It is not my intention to offend or destroy the soul of the one who wrote the quote above but it is rather to inform the said writer that hes has made a grammatical error. I will try to be as nice as possible with my comments, though I couldn't say that Mark would do the same. My friend, you do not find yourself uneasy to Engish but rather in using the English language. That's all. Fear not what others say but what you do when you react in anger.

I believe your "your" should be "you're".

Brava! Your statement is true and commnedable and your hatred for the language is ADMIRABLE.
P.S.
Please do not fear us both. Bambz and I only wish to proliferate the use of English in its somewhat pure form and not render people senseless with our hyphaluted prose.

1 - Critiques are statements while critics are those who utter or convey these statements.
2- It is quite looked down upon, if one shifts from one person to another. Since you wrote in the 1st person, it is not proper for you to use oneself which is in the 2nd person, rather, ourselves should be used, which is also in the 1st person.
